Since setting up his own studio near the Kettle Moraine State Forest in southeast Wisconsin, he has enjoyed developing shapes/patterns from early memories of living in Asia as well as from the everyday scenery of the surrounding Wisconsin landscape.
His work has been shown at the Gallery of Wisconsin Art, The Alexander House, John Michael Kohler Arts Center, Museum of Wisconsin Art, and the Cedarburg Art Museum.
