Via Fondazza Vase, Model B

Milan-based designer Paolo Dell’Elce looked to the shapes and proportions favored by artist Giorgio Morandi (1890-1964) as inspiration for this streamlined vase, crafted of mirror-polished spun brass by Skultuna of Sweden. It is part of Dell’Elce’s Via Fondazza collection, named for the street in Bologna where Morandi lived and worked for most of his life: his house at via Fondazza 36 has been preserved as a museum, exhibition space, and place of contemplation.
